Privacy notice
This notice explains what we collect when you use onebigbutton.app, including your account dashboard, and what we do with it. We've kept it short and plain.
Who we are
One Big Button is run by Isho Creative Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We decide how your information is used. You can reach us at hello@onebigbutton.app.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- Your account: your email address and the name you give us.
- Signing in: when you signed in and the type of device and browser (for example "Chrome on Mac"), so you can see where you're signed in.
- Keeping things safe: a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for a short time, to stop people sending too many sign-in emails. We delete these within a day.
Why we use it
- To email you about launch, because you asked us to (your consent). You can ask us to remove you at any time.
- To run your account and sign you in (to provide the service you asked for).
- To keep the service secure and stop misuse (our legitimate interest in keeping it safe).
Cookies
When you sign in, we use one cookie to keep you signed in. It's essential for the app to work, so we don't ask first. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else handles it
We use Cloudflare to host the website and store data, and Brevo to send emails. They only use your information to provide those services to us. Some of their systems are outside the UK, and they use the legal safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails: until we launch and have let you know, or until you ask us to remove you. Accounts: until you delete your account, which you can do yourself from the account page. Sign-in links run out after 15 minutes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@onebigbutton.app. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
